Before Muir arrived, her parents wanted a nursery that felt calm, connected to nature, and free of predictable pink. A mostly monochromatic palette keeps the Sleepy Hollow room open and quiet. Nancy painted a pine tree mural to give the baby a gentle view from the feeding and reading chair. Art, meaningful objects, and a few playful pieces add personality without crowding the space. The nursery is built around real routines—feeding, reading, resting—and the family’s wish for a room with both serenity and imagination.
